About Susan

Susan is writing suspense novels. Her brief business books offer pointers on investor relations, crisis communications and public relations. Her whimsical series, "Boating with Buddy," follow a rescue dog's adventures at sea. In the past, she's worked in corporate communications for biotechnology companies. She's also worked as a potter and painter with an art studio and small gallery. In addition, she's been a market researcher, nurse's aide, waitress and library page. Her essays on parenting boisterous twins were published in the 1990's in Mothering Magazine, Utne Reader and Twins Magazine. 

Susan grew up in Michigan and received a BFA with Honors from University of Oregon and MBA from Seattle University. She's a member of NetGalley, the Pacific Northwest Writers Association and Women's Fiction Writers Association. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her trumpet-playing husband and beagle-mix rescue dog.
